You’re warmly invited to gather beneath the metaphorical moonlight for an evening woven with words, memory, and magic.
Tales by the Moonlight is a poetic homage to my childhood nights in Nigeria—when, under the silver glow of the moon, elders and children would gather in courtyards to share stories, play games, sing, and dream together. This session revives that tradition—not just as nostalgia, but as a living art form.
Join me as I share original poems and spoken word pieces, each carrying a tale: of home, of exile, of joy, of grief, of queer becoming, of survival, of beauty. These are not just performances—they are portals. Each piece will be accompanied by the story behind it, inviting you into the deeper pulse of memory and meaning.
Come as you are. Leave held, stirred, and seen.
“Under the moonlight, stories don’t just entertain—they remember us back to ourselves.” Come sit under the moon with me.
