Have you ever raced, danced, or played games in a museum? What can we do together with all this space?
This open space offers space for movement, play, experimentation, spontaneous ideas and more. Regular open dance and play activities and workshops take place. You can find out more in our calendar.
The Nomadic Score cards from Playground GbR can be found permanently in the open area. You can use them on your own or try them out together in a group. The scores are a collection of proposals that have been accumulated through collective researches and projects. They are gathered in the form of a card set. Each card is an invitation to a particular score.
Playground GbR is a shared artistic space run by Anna Konjetzky, Quindell Orton, Susanne Schneider and Sahra Huby. Since its inception in 2019 it unfolds in different activities: trainings, lectures, and researches. It is a space devoted to artistic exchange and dialogue, it is a try-out zone, a sketchbook for choreographic thinking and queer-feminist discourse in Munich. In different formats Playground GbR invites participants into practices (such as the monthly ‘training for everybody’, the ‘Practice Sharings’ for professional artists, or the ‘PLAY-…’-format), as well as discursive outputs (such as the ‘Gathering’-series). At Playground GbR the body is approached as a field of negotiation and experimentation, to explore and question our society, our coexistence and our future. Its feminist approach is not just a perspective, but a tool for critical questioning, and critical experiencing. The Playground is a place of continuous artistic research, of physical knowledge production, and of knowledge exchange.
The instructions on the Nomadic Score cards are written in english.
